Hello everyone,
It’s almost September 23rd again, I’d like to take a moment to reflect and update. Looking back to my last year’s timeline, it seems ambitious still, but the content deepened and is forward in motion. I’m mostly grateful to be on this journey, as unnerving as it is doing something I’ve never done before.
Last year’s theme was stillness. This year, I’d like to propose the theme, interconnectedness. In my struggle with ptsd, I’m learning in a whole new way how intricate and interconnected our human bodies are within themselves. IBDP is reflecting much of my own recovery, whilst being true to the nature of busking, interweaving itself together. It’s connected meaningful friendships with like hearted souls, and I have faith it will continue to do so.
On this September 23rd, like last year, I will sit in Herald Square to look out toward Greeley Square, and ponder the meaning of interconnectedness. I wish for you to attain the same wherever you’re on that day.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
Jia
